This an 8 player map that was initially designed for EA by me and not used for the original Generals. The map was designed for tourny play. I have converted it to Zero Hour.

There are supplies located in your starting area and just outside of it, as well as small supply piles on the mesa's toward the central valley.

I added in four Oil Derricks as the original concept was a tourney style map and I very seldom provide Tech buildings in my tournement maps. For Zero Hour I also added a few of the newer tech buildings as well

I tried to simulate a a stormy summer evening in the Yucatan Penninsula of Mexico. There are lightning effects that randomly go off every 2 to 7 minutes are not annoying at all as they are short in duration. For the Zero Hour expansion rain has been added.

The lighting gets slowly gloomy (very slowly) so that an hour long battle will find you in a gloomy atmosphere in the heat of battle and then back to normal if you survive to mop up.

The background sound is actually a recording of a small stream but it sounds exactly like heavy rain in the rain forests of Mexico, so I incorporated it as well.

The trees sway a bit more than the stock settings . This was done to keep up with the wind speed and direction.

The Mayan Pyramid in the center of the valley is accessable to both infantry and ground units by using the ramps that go up all four sides. Makes a very good observation post and a really neat place to put a Tomahawk when you play as the USA.

To use the map look in your computer for a folder named My Document/Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour Data/Maps. If this directory doesn't exist, play a skirmish map and comeback. The folder should be there now. Extract the COMPLETE FOLDER included in the map zip file in the My Document/Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour Data/Maps. Fire up the game and you should be good to go.
